David Rosales Designs - Contemporary Native American Jewelry
?I am enthralled with this new pendant by David Rosales! It has such an unusual and distinctive design. This is the aptly named Black Beauty Collection with black jade and blue cultured opal stones that are inlaid in sterling silver. This is one of my favorite collections because the opal stands out so nicely against the dark jade. The inlay style is really unique in this pendant. Each opal stone is cut in a rectangular fashion and placed seemingly at random. This layout gives the pendant a speckled appearance that is bright and showy. Around the inlaid stones there is some nice silver work with a sunburst flare. This silver work adds a pretty decoration to this pendant without being overpowering. This is a pleasing pendant that has a nice balance of silver and inlay work.
David Rosales is the designer of our most popular line of Native American jewelry. He designs the jewelry while his team of Navajo Native Americans brings each piece to life. All the inlay work is done entirely by hand. Through a tedious process of cutting, grinding, and finishing, these talented artists create beautiful mosaics with tiny stones. Many of these pieces, such as this Black Beauty pendant, require a great deal of time and effort to create. When you wear a piece of David Rosales jewelry, you can take pride in knowing that you helped to support Native American jewelry artists who handcraft beautiful works of art.
This pendant measures 2" from top to bottom and is just under 1 1/4" wide. The bail is attached at the top and does not swivel. Other than the inlay work, this is solid sterling silver. We do ask that you allow around six weeks for delivery of this pendant. As stated above, a lot of work goes into handcrafting this and we appreciate your patience. I know you will love this when it arrives!
